Mission: 
It is the mission of the Membership Committee to promote the value of FAS3 to potential new members.  When potential new members apply for membership, the committee will review their application for qualifications, present the application to the Board for consideration and notify the applicant of the status of their application.

Mission: 
It is the mission of the Standards Committee to oversee the development and promulgation of guidelines and standards developed by the various or Technical Committees.

Make-Up:
This Standing Committee is to be comprised of no less than one board member and no more than two general members.

Roles and responsibilities:

• This committee will develop, issue and reissue Guidelines and Standards Procedures on the development of guidelines and standards to be promulgated by this organization.
• This committee will oversee the development of guidelines and standards created by this organizations various Technical Committees. This oversight will include the following:
  • To edit technical guidelines or standards in compliance with the procedural guidelines maintained by the Standards Committee.
  • To submit the guideline or standard to the organization as outlined within the bylaws.
  • To insure that the various Technical Committees are functional and productive.
